What's the Deal with all the proposed resolutions???
So as the subject says, what’s the deal???
People will make a resolution and then won't give any defense for their point of view. E.g. - Let's pass this resolution because it will make the world a better place.
Excuse me, how will it make this a better place??? Please give support for your proposals, don't just assume that we will know what the hell your talking about.
And another thing. I flipped through some of the proposals and most of them are the same. I must have seen about 10 proposals to have cleaner air. Hello people we only need one.

Hey, people just happen to be lazy and unimaginative. Okay.
Ok, Thanks for clearing it up.
Welcome to the joys of democracy, no one cares what you say, so long as you look good saying it.
All government is corrupt. It doesn't matter whether its a democracy or a dictatorship. This is the reality of life. Anyone who thinks other wise is sadly mistaken.

A better way for people to propose resolutions would be to first create a DRAFT and post it here to see what comments people have. Then make changes to the DRAFT until such a time that a few people verbally endorse the proposed resolution.
Unfortunately many of the people who draft resolutions don't defend their resolutions or seek input. The sad thing is, they don't need too!

Those interested in writing a resolution that might actually earn the respectful attention of the United Nations' member states would be wise to read the appropriate referene guides published in the libraries. I know that we have established our own guide that the delegate from Frisbeeteria has been so kind to add to, the sum of which explains quite nicely the process from the conception of an idea to the final written product.
