OK, i get that this website is all about politics and stuff, but what is the point of the UN here? None of us actually have anything, so passing bills regulating non-existant populations does nothing. I move that something is redone or remade to let these proposals actually do something and affect the nations. The reason being is that it would affect the votes signifigantly. Right now i may vote no to something that i don't like, but if my "citizens" are completely for it, i may have no choice.

I would also like to stress that these "democracies" are non-existent, because there's no-one to vote.

If I'm wrong about all this, someone tell me, because i admit that i am new to this.

The proposals do actually change your nations.

To take the current one as an example, it says it will "Improve the quality of the world's environment at the expense of business". Therefore, if it passes, everyone's business sectors will suffer while their environment improves.
