im assuming most of you have read said proposal.on the surface it looks good,but it unfortunately has some flaws.issue 5(holding the trial in the same area as the crime)could bias a potentail jury pool especially if its a small city,issue 8(rendering a verdict proportional to the crime)which could be viewd as"eye for an eye" which could be unfair to said defendant under the right circumstances),and issue 9(making a trial public to the media) which again could bias a potential jury pool as well as ruin the defendants life aftwerwards should he or she be proved innocent.o.j simpson,for example.i encourage all un members to vote no on this proposal.
