Fellow Delegates,
Please help me pass this resolution!!! Fight the crusade for freedom!!!

R.E.P.R.
Repeal Euthanasia and Prostitution Resolutions!

The recent United Nations resolutions that have been passed, Legalize Euthanasia and Legalize Prostitution, are in direct violation of a nation’s right to decide for itself what is moral or not. If a nation wishes to legalize it for themselves that is fine. But to enforce it upon all of the UN is completely outrageous. It is purely wrong to force your beliefs on other nations. We have the sovereign right to choose what our nations morals are. Another nation has no right to force their will upon other nations and this is exactly what these two resolutions are doing. That is why many people left the UN, because the refuse to have their idea of right and wrong thrown to the wind in place of another’s. These resolutions are absolutely unjust.
I say again, if you want them legal, legalize for your own country, not for all of us!

I, Emperor Crossman, ruler of the Holy Empire of Crossman and sovereign of Crossman Prime call upon all the freedom loving nations of the world to see the unjustness of these resolutions and join me in the fight against them!
If you want to be able to govern your nation how you see fit, then join me!
Thank you.

Please offer your support! Thank you.

-Emperor Crossman, ruler of the Holy Empire of Crossman and sovereign of Crossman Prime

Unable to repeal, my foot!!! If you can make a resolution, you can darn well declare a resolution that make the prior obsolete!

OOC: It is plain to stupid to be able to pass an issue that you can't change your mind about. This game is all about pretending things, thats all the resolutions are, fake words that we abide by. Therefore we can easlily type up a few words that says something else, such as "hey we don't have to follow that old one". So don't tell me we can't repeal a resolution. We vote, say it's repealed and therefore it is.

Euthanasia, I can deal with.
Prostitution, no. It harms social welfare and promotes the spread of disease. As far as I can see, euthanasia does just the opposite.

You can try. You'll be on the outside of the UN looking in very rapidly if you try too often. But you can try.

If a nation cannot accept a certain resolution, then perhaps the UN is not for that particular nation.

Remember, UN membership is only voluntary.

You have the option of opting-out.

Do not bombard those who suggest resolutions.

It only displays a lack of intelligence.

OOC: If repealing is not added as a Game Mechanic, people need to just understand that and not pass foolish resolutions :D

The representitive for the Democratic States of Hirota would be directed to vote against this, simply as you cannot repeal a resolution under existing UN legislation. If you were going to get either of these through, you'd be better of trying to pass resolutions on the two matters induvidually. However, we respectfully suggest the Holy Empire of Crossman considers abandoning their proposal(s)

Although...we agree in principal the UN would be better off without them, simply because they are ineffective, and should be decided by induvidual member states.
