The UN is an orginization designed to protect the rights of nations. Most of those who read this don't understand the word "Nations." a nation is a people. It is a group of human beings with a set group of Ideas.
The Holy Empire of the Isle of Skye is an extremely religious nation with very progressive social policies that help every person return to their feet after an economic crash. Prostitution does not exist in our nation. Period.
It would exist were we to allow it legally, leading to the exploitation of women. No human being should be exploited sexually, it is one of the greatest crimes any human could exert on any other human.
Thus we will have to deny the legalization of prostitution in our country to protect the rights of our populace, no human will be exploited within our borders while we stand by and watch.
The UN is failing in its task, and losing track of it's vision. It is not the job of the UN to meddle in the internal policies of nations. Its job is to keep nations from effecting each other. Restrictions on weapons, international policy and the environment are the UN's job, and thus we deny the laws passed that would effect our internal policies.
We support the UN in its laws regarding international policy. Though we disagree with the majority on issues of the torture of foreign fanatics, we obey UN laws with this issue. Likewise, we obey UN laws on assasination and the environment, because those are issues that it has the power and duty to regulate.
But the people of the Isle of Skye will not be told what to do with themselves by people who are not of this nation, or people who know not what is best for the people of the Isle of Skye. The UN cannot, and Will NOT force us to allow morrally abhorrent practises within our borders.
We have seen threats go out across the board to various nations. Threats of military invasion. Our allies within the south pacific, the largest region in the world, would stand with us if we were invaded, though due to our massive military power, it would be foolish for most to do so. We do not wish war, nor will we start one, but mark our words, if we are invaded we will defend ourselves with our full military strength.
We reach out to all the huddled masses who are forced into the abhorrent act of prostitution. Your government is incompetent and unable to protect you from economical collapse, but the Isle of Skye is not. Contact your local IOS ambassador. Our country will welcome you with open arms, so that you are not forced into such a position. If your own government is too incompetent to protect your rights, then mine will.
The people of the Isle of Skye are willing to die for their rights, and freedoms. They are willing to die to ensure that our people have the right NOT to be abused, NOT to be manipulated, and NOT to be taken advantage of. And I am willing to die for my people.
