My body, my choice to risk it breaking it...

We would like to encourage all skaters, bike-riders etc. to wear protection but there is no way we are going to force them!

If you wanted, you could alter the proposal to make it mandatory for cildren under the age of...say...12 to wear protection and we would consider supporting you.

And how is this improving human and civil rights? It's only more gubernamental restriction!

Please support this; you'll be saving someone's life!

Doesn't everyone have the choice of saving their own life be using helmets and other safety features? If they don't want to, they are only risking their own life, not someone else's.

It would be a different matter if you would... for example (HINT, HINT!!! ) ask to put safety features that would help the others not to crash into them.

Once again we have another proposal which takes one nation's issue and tries to force that nation's solution on the entire U.N. body. Worker safety is a National issue and should not even be addressed by the U.N.
