National Soverignty Restoration Resolution

29-01-2004, 05:08
The Republic of Even Greater Texas needs assistance and support in the introduction of the National Soverignty Restoration Resolution. Over the years a massive number of resolutions have passed that are overlapping, indecipherable in effect, and skew our abilities to govern our nations.

Strikes me a little "Spring Cleaning" would be good for everbody, therefore:

THE NATIONAL SOVERIGNTY RESTORATION RESOLUTION

All UN resolutions passed to date are hereby declared null and void.

Clearly a game mechanics change. Alterations to the function of the UN itself should not be submitted as UN proposals. This stuff is for Technical forum.

You might find the "Before submitting a proposal" sticky to be helpful.

sorry couldn't resist.

My feelings on "game mechanic" proposals has been made clear in other areas, and so I would say that while your proposal could never garner enough support, it should still be possible.

Yeah, proposals such as this have trouble reaching quorum and yet that mess about legalising prostitution made it. It boggles the mind.

The Rogue Nation of Greenspoint would happily support this proposal.

Frisbeeteria, my region's delegate, made an excellent proposal recently to define and limit the powers of the UN. It also spelled out the rights and responsibilities of UN member nations. If you are serious about pursuing this, and it is a worthy goal, I would recommend looking at the postings on that topic, and start from there.
