The Empire of Benicius has proposed to the UN for the preservation of Antarctica. Unfortunately its predecessor fell short of being put up by 50 votes.

We ask delegates to the UN that you support the Preservation of Antarctica II proposal. It is an important resolution.

Yes indeed it does exist.

this is another attempt to harrass the nations of antartica, and as such the PReG opposes it

As the UN Delegate for Antarctica, a few words are in order.

Your proposal is specious, and appears to be based on nothing more than your juvenile squabble with one nation-state from the Snowy Lands.

Your proposal will never pass

And finally, even were it to pass, the nations of Antarctica are not going anywhere, and nothing you do will change that. If you disagree, I have three words for you: Bring it on.

A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.

Description: The preservation of Antarctica is an important and necessary initiative which requires international committment if we are to survive.

For too long, nationstates have mined and drilled Antarctica; causing greater global warming and the extinction of marine life.

This proposal seeks to:

1. Ban all drilling and mining in the following regions regardless of UN membership:
(a) Antarctica
(b) The Snowy Lands of Antarctica

This will be enforced by UN peacekeepers to be stationed in Antarctica. This will require current nationstates situated in these two respective regions to move for the greater good of all humanity.

2. Ban all military activity in Antarctic regions.

3. Establish Antarctica as marine sanctuary.

4. The formation of an International Court of Justice to deal with those who would violate the above.
