I have posted the proposal to establish a Students Exchange Programme. It is described as a "Furtherment of democracy", while its strength is "mild". We hope you will approve our proposal. The following is the same text you can find on the UN Proposals page:

__Students Exchange__

Description: Students should be allowed to travel to foreign countries as part of a Student Exchange Programme. The students would learn about different nations and cultures, while spreading their own culture. This way peace and friendship will spread, and we'll all learn a bit about each other. Not to mention the possible scientific value of this kind of programme.

Because the nations sovereignity should be preserved, a nation does have a right to reject foreign students, from a specified nation or all nations. This is only an attempt at democracy, and democracy is not something that should be forced upon nations.

You can just click on this link. The proposal is still on page 16, and I hope it will stay there for a couple more days...

It is amazing how hard it is to hate a group of people once you get to know one of them.

Hmm.. I've got 38 approvals so far, and the voting ends on Friday, January 30th. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

You have my backing should your proposal be given to a vote. I certainly hope everyone sees the importance of this idea, as it would give nations a greater understanding of one another.

If you decide to try this again, it might help to enlist the aid of your regional members in telegramming delegates for support (briefly and politely).
