The Nation of Teebeestroika would like to draw delegates attention to the proposal titled "The End", currently located rather fittingly at the very end of the proposal list, and commends it to them for approval or debate.

The UN has just about run out of good ideas, so "The End" aims to draw it's work to a spectacular conclusion, without (technically) breaking the limits on proposals.

Sadly, the categorisation system does not allow the proposal's aims to be correctly identified, which are to utterly destroy any nation remaining in the UN after the proposal becomes law.

The nation of Teebeestroika also wishes to apologise for the small typo in the last line of the proposal and requests the indulgence of other nations in this matter regarding resolution 245A (Proper Grammar).

"Would the last nation to leave please turn the lights out."

It's on page 16 of the proposal list - other people seem to be able to see it because it has 3 approvals already, but the whole of nationstates is almost unusably slow for me at the moment.

It's always a good idea to paste the entire proposal into your first forum post, Teebeestroika. Pages numbers are useless after 12 hours.

BTW, it's going to get deleted for game mechanics violations anyway. Cute joke, but ultimately futile.

The End
While the UN has enacted much useful legislation in the past, it is becoming increasngly difficult to find worthwhile issues to debate. When this is combined with a rising tide of badly worded, badly spelt and badly thought out resolutions, it is time to consider that the useful life of the UN may be finished.

This resolution intends to draw the work of the UN to a spectacular end.

If this resolution passes, all UN member states will be required to:

1) Raise tax rates to 10,000% and dump the proceeds in the nearest Sea.

2) Outlaw all kinds of work, trade or business.

3) Kill all wildlife and animals.

4) Kill their entire population.

The effects of this are intended to be so dramatic that no nation can remain in the UN after this resolution passes.

I commend this proposal to all nations in the UN, and recommend they leave the UN as soon as the have voted for it. Would the last nation to leave please turn the lights out.

We of the Deathseekers are glad to see that others support such self sacrifice. It is our custom to commit seppuku (killing oneself) t oremove the shame of defeat or dishonor. We would gladly sacrifice our lives if it would better the empire. Every person in the Deathseekers follows the path of death and would greet him as friend were he to knock. we wil support this resolution should it come to pass.

We also urge all the nations that dishonored themselves by voting for the UCPL to support this as well. It would be a fitting end, and a way to reagain your honor.
