I have written another law that conforms to some of the suggestions made for my last one. The background checks are already in place in many parts of the world and are meant mostly just to deter the smaller criminal from gaining weapons, mabey stop a school killer or something. The 5 day waiting period is so that people cant go buy a gun because they are upset at someone and kill them. If they want it for this reason and dont already have one, this period allows them a cool off period. As stated in the proposal, fully automatic weapons are for offense only. No defensive man carries one. This is why the military has M-16's but police only have semi automatic weapons. Please do a search for "Guns-Proposition GAIN" and read it over.
