Right to Govern

Greetings. Now, I haven't made many proposals myself, I just vote on them. However today, I come to you all with a proposal. I call it the "Right to Govern".
I have heard some people talk about having some forms of government outlawed. This proposal is to outlaw any resolutions that would prohibit any nation from choosing how it wants to govern itself and what type of government it wishes to have.
I know this isn't the most highly detail proposal and probably not the most earth-shakingly important issue there is right now, but I feel that it is something that should be addressed.
So I ask you, please, at least consider my idea. Thank you for your time. (OOC: especially since the forum runs slow for many of us)

Any resolution that attempts to ban the ability for a NationState to choose its own type of government would go against game mechanics. Your proposal to ban such resolutions is unnecessary. We don't need a UN Resolution banning something that game mechanics doesn't allow.

Well it was worth a shot.

Actually to get rid of certain governments would go against game mechanics, but if it were passed, people with the outlawed government could be kicked out of the UN. Right? It doesn't mean that you wouldn't be able to be a certain government, just that if you were you'd get kicked out. Well, like I said, it was worth a shot.

I agree Even though it goes against the mechanics, they are still out there. Let's ensure that they are not part of the UN at a minimum.
