This is for all the nations who are sick of the idealists pushing their magic-world-tax-and-spend-money-is-no-object-everyone-hold-
hands-and-be-nice-to-eachother world on you!?!??!?!??!

Vote for this and they can shove it.

RESOLUTION*******************
No More Pretend Money!
*******************************
A resolution to reduce income inequality and increase basic welfare.

Whereas, all UN delegates live in a make-believe world where money falls from the sky into their laps to pay for all the wonderful, albeit, cost is no object proposals.

Whereas, sometimes common sense is severely lacking by said nations and they need some one to tell them what to do.

And whereas, in reality, we as the leaders of our nations must make appropriate decisions to help our people yet also, must maintain proper fiscal balance else risking bamkruptcy and financial ruin for the country and the people of the country.

Whereas, too many nations currently exist in a nether-world where they believe they can fund every single social cause under a leaky financial umbrella that could burst.

Whereas, further, these nations need to be given rules on how to budget for their own long term good because they do not know a thing about basic finance.

Let it be known that here, whenceforth, no nation can run a financial deficit except on very rare occasions. Under the "Mo More Pretend Money" Resolution, all nations must run a balance budget annually except under such extreme circumstances as in years when there is one of the following : war, famine, flood, hurricanes and other natural disasters, or a stock market collapse.

If all expected social expenses can not be met without experiencing a deficit, then these social expenses will be pro-rated and reduced such that no deficit exists on the given year.

Xha'dam especially likes the way you lied about the number of approvals and in fact it currently has zero.

Got any real comments?Yes. Your whining about the UN is annoying and these proposals only serve to clog an already overflowing system. Xha'dam suggests that if you hate the UN, leave.

hmmm, don;t think you're putting fuel on the fire here?
I'm not whining... I'm actually putting forth a constructive proposal to do something productive with the UN!! I guess you don't see the difference.

You have to remeber that the NS UN won't always reflect the one in real life. You changed the number of approvals and went, to spam for your proposal, which is a joke and would change game mechanics. If people wont approve your proposal, deal with it.

Lexwolf - no spam here. Just open dialogue! Just in case you didn't know, the UN allows people to promote their proposals on this FORUM that you are on RIGHT NOW!

deal with it.

Calm down children! I don't see too much constructive criticism going on here. I do think too many wet liberals get too many proposals through though, its about time we started endorsing more progressivly thinking right-wingers.

From a strictly selfish point of view we might enjoy this proposal, as it requires of profligate nations the rigorous discipline we already impose on ourselves.
If we were in their shoes we might, however, object to impositions upon our sovereignty.
