That is only 779 votes more for than against it. It has to be the closest ever

Yeah, I think the closest ever if you go by percentage difference.
17-01-2004, 07:59
51.8689% to 48.1311%

And to think, the election for the most powerful man on earth was even closer  (not to mention fraudulent).

OK, now that this motion, with its dangerously sloppy language is in force, how do we pull its fangs?

The government of Gleeb agrees that there is no reason not to end a truly horrible, meaningless life, but at the same time, we wish to protect our citizens from their heirs, physicians, and others who might have ulterior motives in bringing about their deaths.

What steps are other nations taking to ensure that death only comes where invited?

In keeping with the new UN resolution mandating euthanasia be legal in our country, we have decided that the current resolution up for a vote regarding the treatment of the mentally ill is unnecessary.

The officials in charge of our mental institutions, where all mentally ill persons have been housed in relative splendour these past many years, as the legal guardians of these residents have decided to have them all euthanised.
