Proposal: Global Trade Laws

16-01-2004, 03:39
Whereas trade in years past has become more dependent upon a global economy.

Whereas, the United Nations has no real laws governing trade.

Whereas, this may cause disruption of trade between states.

Whereas, a trade dispute can easily erupt into a war, be it resolved by this assemblage of the United Nations that global regulations be imposed by the United Nations.

These regulations and measures should include, but not be limited to:

1.) A stable exchange rate between nations

2.) The creation of a sovereign body that could prosecute international finance crimes through all available mediums

3.) The creation of an independent committe designed to track human rights violations in the global marketplace and bring them to justice.
