Cutting out the middleman
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.

Category: Political Stability Strength: Strong Proposed by: Estebanotopia
Description: Look lets face it, our legaslative system is flawed, lets change it by allowing all UN members to endorse their delegates as before, but for resolotions, only the UN regional delegates vote , this way, voting won't be done by guessing, and the UN member states can oust their delegates if they vote wrong. This will also make fewer voters, wich will make a fair and balanced system of legislation

Approvals: 10 (Estebanotopia, Kryozerkia, Zachnia, Faybian, Chicken Head, Nessapotania, Park Slope-estan, Squigy iii, The Peoples Thoughts, Nucular)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 130 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Thu Jan 15 2004

Lacking support for good reason - it's a game mechanics issue.

Frisbeeteria has recommended that this proposal be purged.

Agree with the purging. Also, what would be the point of being in the UN, if all you do is exist to give someone a little power. Defeats the purpose of the UN.

Let's go the other way, make it easier for all to vote. Put the proposal which is up for vote in a prominent place on the nation's homepage, with a brief explanation, until they vote on it.
