A conflict of Interest

Emperiyean

The People's Republic of Emperiyean sees one GIANT conflict of Interest in the current Euthanasia Resolution and that is...

How can someone who has recently been diagnosed as terminally ill, possibly be in the right frame of mind to make this decision for themselves? How can families about to lose a loved one make a well balanced choice?

The fact is, people in these situations are EMOTINALLY INVOLVED! That is to say that their judgement is affected by emotion much like how alcohol effects your decision making abilities.

The People's Republic of Emperiyean is all for Euthanasia but not in the proposed format. We believe that a qualified medical practioner or practioner's (obviously with no emotional link to the involved parties) approval should be compulsory.
