We, the people of Most Serene Republic of Jaua, admit that we had a fast glance of the proposal and voted right away FOR, given our general concordance with the principle.
However, thnks to the Forum, we were able to understand the wrongness of doing so.
The phrase that made out vote change to AGAINST is in the proposal:
"In the case of a freak situation in which a person has no serious illness or is over a certain age, if the person cannot make the decision themselves it would be made by those closest to them on the basis of professional medical advice. "
This, and belief that each nation should have the right to pass their own legislation regarding this matter, made us oppose firmly.
