How about that- a three word proposal of which two words are massively popular keywords. It's bound to get noticed. And then the person who read it is bound to come back here and write an impassioned response either lauding me or condemning me. Or both.

As I said, It's bound to get noticed. {ahem}

Yeah, or maybe its not...
You should always quote the proposal for us, hence we now if its good and should look for it...

Edit:Misread. Thought the proposal itself was three words.

Maybe your proposal could use a little "fleshing out"?
I don't even know if you're for or against sex or tv.

You're seriously going to try banning kissing on tv? Get real! Oh, and if you're also going to ban "The wearing of clothing which is intended to accentuate aspects, or the entirety, of the wearer's body in a sexual manner." be aware that applies to virtually all fashionable clothing worn by women in the west.

Indeed. Are you saying that women should avoid looking attractive on TV? What about men? Some men look attractive. Should we ban actors/actresses from taking exercise because it makes them look sexy? Perhaps they should cut their hair badly to make them less desirable, or not shave their legs?

Anyone remember the 211th, 212th and 213th Amendments to the US Constitution? (A reference to Kurt Vonnegut's short story, Harrison Bergeron.)

I think sex is great. I think everyone should have sex, at least once in their lives. Because if it was not for sex, you probably would not be here. I also support homosexual kissing, touching, and sex on television also. :D

I support the use of condoms also and other birth control devices as well as devices that stop the spreading of disease, and I think that ought to be shown more on television.

I have read this resolution and it violates freedom of expression as well as hinders free trade since it affects what local stations can and cannot have. We should more expressions of love on television not less.

I will not approve of this resolution and will vote against it if it reaches the floor. On the last day of voting, if it looks like it is going to pass, I will resign from the UN.

Don't worry it won't pass. Half of TV is sex, and sexual actions. Without it half of comedy and all of romance dies. Not too mention why can't people look good if it gets ratings. TV is a money making business, whatever brings in the cash, should be allowed.

That story was thinly disguised capitalist propaganda. :roll: The message is clear: An elite minority are ment to rule over the masses and it's wrong to stop them.

I'm aware of its allegorical significance, which rendered it somewhat less enjoyable, but I referenced it solely because I considered the nonsensical amendments to have oblique and humerous reference - specifically, the masks worn by ballerinas as a result.
