First of all, I don't want to walk around in a daze.. regardless of whether or not it's a happy one.. Also, if someone can't spell "Banned" right, I doubt we should be following his/her lead.. just my little babble about the current resolution.

Yes, these poorly worded, vague proposals need to be stopped. Far too many things are getting pushed through the UN that could be easily bypassed without violating the wording of the UN law. For example the filtering of all liquid wastes, why could I just have my business dump their liquid waste in a hole with rocks and call that a filtration device? ( Stop dumping - Start Cleaning resolution) It would obey the UN law, we need to think before we make a proposal, and vote no on all these vague proposals.
The Colonial Nations concur, the proposal is poorly written and not very well thought out. While we do not endorse pop up ads, we understand the free market need for such items and encourage our citizens to obtain pop up blockers if they do not wish to receive such ads. This proposal must be rejected.

It is not only "band" but "there" and "i". Spelling and grammar are important. Sloppy use of the language implies sloppy thinking. If you want to influence a decision, then it should be properly prepared. I will consequently vote against.

Thanks!
Incidentally, the subject for this topic is inaccurate: the topic of the resolution is pop-ups, not spam.

Whoever wrote this worthless pile of crap did everything incorrectly.
1. Fragmented sentences, misspellings, improper use of homophones, and other grammatical errors make this resolution a nightmare
2. The resolution makes no attempt to justify its position. Being ridiculously short, and wasting half the time on a useless tangent about happy dazes and such, it doesn’t even attempt to give reasons for adopting the suggestion.
3. As stated by Terra Matsu, it provides no method of actually removing internet pop-ups; it simply states they shouldn't exist.
4. Most online sites are supported by ads, which include pop-ups. If they were banned, many sites would be forced to require members to pay. I certainly don't think that would lead us any closer to ‘world peace’.
I sincerely hope whoever wrote this was trying to be funny. Otherwise, he or she might consider getting professional mental help.
