I know that this is a lot to ask of the UN delegates that read this, and that they must be asked this a lot, but is there any chance of endorsing the proposal "Access to family planning?"
If you have comments as to how it may be ammended, please let me know.

Access to family planning
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Mild
Proposed by: Kesgrave
Description: No state should be able to ban access to family planning services. A state will still be allowed to not provide a service, but if so, there should be no ban on private or charitable organistations from providing the help needed. In addition, the state concerned will be able to legislate to enforce such limits of the services below as it chooses so long as an outright ban is avoided.
This includes access to and provision of
Terminations
Sterilisation
Contraception
Approvals: 9 (New Ithilien, Tarrican, Navelgazia, Scylla et Charybdis, Anthonycha, Shee City, Lemon Jelly, Ringler, West - Europa)
Status: Lacking Support (requires 128 more approvals)
Voting Ends: Thu Jan 8 2004

I support this, if only because it falls under the category of things that become bigger issues when regulated. I'm not sure if it's an issue for the whole UN, but I'll support it anyway.
