Ok, Ok, OK, Can we please move on to something else. Every time we turn around someone is posting another homosexual topic. I think we all know where everyone stand by now. SOOOOOO can we please move on to something else!

The propose something better. At least they get good discussion.

Yes, and they did the last time we had a round of homosexual topics, back in August. It's all cyclic. Just endure it until the next phase of topics moves in to annoy us all. I'm thinking it'll be nazism this time, or perhaps racism. I think we're getting all partisaned out.

What classifies this as belonging in the UN? If I"m in the un can't I post things here....just a thought! :D

I"m pretty new to NS, so at first I was posting replies to everything, but I quickly saw how this game is played, THANK GOD it is only a game!

Ths is like wishing it would stop raining in the Amazon. It is a hotbutton issue that will not die until there are no more gays or people no longer care. Good luck with the former or latter. People are too polarized therefore this issue will come and go. There are also quite a lot of gay folks on NS who oddly enough rarely start or bother with these threads, rather it is often started by well meaning types or people with certain religious beliefs or simple-minded goofs with mental problems.

Some of the threads and posts have in the past been extremely offensive, namely the 'ban homosexuality' proposal and its thread. Some of the comments kinda made me wonder wtf the mods were up to but as long as people can hide under rp'ing or are armed with a certain, largely extrinsic, religious freedom of expression it leaves the door wide open to all sorts of really disgusting posts which, to make the comparison clear, I was quite ready to adopt the same RP/religion stance to do just that coz playing make believe and interpretation of scripture is a two edged sword. Question is, is that sword free to cut both ways? :? That said I agree that all that should be said has been beaten to death already. Sooner or later somoene's patience with all of it will be gone and may just decide to put shoes on other's feet, so to speak and see what reaction it envokes. :twisted:

So far it seems the nut-bar factor has shrunk. Let's hope it stays that way.

I've never seen a homosexual topic. All the topics I've seen are straight :)

Like real life... these are cyclical issues, they'll be back... give it time.

Yes you can, but you are encouraged to play In Character (IC), in case you want to make a statement Out of Character, do so as I did in the upper part of this post.
I know a lot of people doesn't care, even veterans of NS, but I just think you did it because you are new... didn't you? :D
