Freedom to worship Satan proposal

06-01-2004, 04:10
Nations of the world, I would like to draw your attention to a proposal of dire importance - the Freedom to Worship Satan proposal.

Description: The God loving religions of the world are relentless in their persecution of the Lord of Darkness, Satan. This is an abomination! Satan Worshippers must have the same right to freedom of religion as everyone else. If passed, this resolution would ensure the rights of Satan Worshippers to congregate and practise their faith without persecution.

As you can see, this is a matter of dire importance! You must vote FOR this proposal, if you value anything at all! Just go to the United Nations page, and search for the proposal called "Freedom to worship Satan". The Necrowizard thanks you.

We in no way advocate the worshipping of Satan, but we do tolerate it and believe that people should be allowed to worship whoever they want, however they want so long as does not physically harm other people or infringe upon their civil rights.

We have approved of this resolution and will vote for it if it reaches the floor.

Satan worshipers must not harm other people, and must not infringe other civil rights. It is the citizens' choice, however, to outcast the worshippers.

Hell I know at least 75-90% of the nations in my region would vote for it. Make it so.

Already dealt with! I wish people would stop proposing things that have already been passed. Your right to worship satan is enshrined in no less than two resolutions (perhaps more, I didn't continue looking over the list once I'd found these. They are:

Religious Tolerance

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

I think we should make it legal. I know of alot of people that would vote for that. Not because they are in fact satanist but because they believe in religous tolerance. I think we should throw that up with another vote to see who wants it and who doesn't. Maybe this time it might get approved theres only one way to find out and thats to make a proposal.

It seems as though this was already taken care of in other UN resolutions, but i don't think it should be addressed at a UN level period. At the individual state level there is more than enough attention paid to religion. While you musn't have a separation between church and state in your independant states, I beleive it is necessary on a world scale.
