For to long the children of our countries have been use as a weapon of war and devestation. kids are not the best people for the use of soldiers, there are up three reasons why we as a band of great nations should not pass this great proposal.


Reason one is that the children of the nations thaT use them as weapons of war face many economial problems such as the high loss of a population, which because of the loss of population there are not as many kids to but presents for a Christmas time. And because the there are not as many kids to buy presents for the economy will be hurt. Also, when they come back from the war they cant function in normal social activaties such as shopping, what if a person goes to the store and someone takes a parking place from them they could flip out and kill them and blow up the car while they are at it.

Reason two. When the kids get back (as stated above) they are not ready to be reinserted into regular life you would have to keep them locked up in locovilles for the rest of there lifes and if there is a great amount of wars going on that is a lot of locovilles.

Reason three. The moral stand piont is off the wall how would you as a parent like to send your kid which is only 10-15 years old to go and fight for there country and come back as wild blood thristy animals. you would be terrified to do that to your kid. it is not right.

Seriously, what nation uses Child Soldiers?

The sad story is many countries use children as soldiers. Being in the military in the past I have spoken to other soldiers that were in conflicts against other countries that used children as soldiers. Most countries that do this provide drugs for the children, this is their motivation to work there. I know people who have had to kill kids, and by kids I mean people not even in their teens, their AK-47 and ammo probably weighed more then them in some cases. The psycological damage done to the soldiers that have to kill children is overwhelming. How can a child want to kill you if he/she does not even have the mental capacity to know what he/she is even fighting for or what it means to kill someone? And children do not make good soldier anyways, they just die, so there is not even a benefit to having them really.

OOC: In real life I fully agree that this should be banned. Using children as soldiers is a crime against children, a crime against God, and a crime against humanity.

IC: We of the Logarchy must support the use of child soldiers. A full third of the population, per Plato's ideals, are enrolled in the military, from childhood until death. Our children may not see combat, but they most certainly are trained and exposed to the rigors of training, the philosophy of war, and the necessary liberal arts education. While we agree that children should not be forced into combat, we insist on the right to enroll them in the military, to teach them to use weapons, to train in possibly lethal ways, and to be disciplined by the Aristoi. Therefore, we fully oppose any attempt to make the enrollment of children in the military illegal.

Children make excellent mine detectors and can also be used for diversionary attacks, poison gas detection, and suicide bombers.
Of course, we only use the children of inferior races in these roles.

And destroy the future in the mean time. Remember a war is fought for the peace after wards. Unless you are pretending to be a sick person who wants to play a sick nation just for the fun of it.

Your childern are the most expensive connon fodder ever. With them gone you are letting your future be shot to pieces. They are needed to run your country 25 years in the future. They are needed to fight wars 25 years in the future, when they make proper soldiers.

The principal woman and childern first is not some stupid highly ethical principal. It has a hard core economic purpose. Woman especially because they breed childern. A nation with 1 man and 1.000.000 woman is quickly back to power. A nation with 1.000.000 milion men and 1 woman is gone after one generation.

Actually it is less than 25 years, but that is the average number taken for one generation.

See in this case it would work. Be using the childern of a minority race in the militairy you make them hero's, and at the same time make sure of your race population domination. Good thinking :) And if they get shock trauma's even better. Then they will not be competative anymore in society.

This brings us to the conclusion that childern of nations should be allowed to be used in the military. For one, since most other nations have another ethnicity we are very sure that in 25 years our people will have a serious domination on the world. It is like ethnic cleansing but we can not be charged because they are doing it voluntairaly.

The Community of Bariloche does not aprove the use of professional children soldiers in an offensive campaign. Although the children of our nation are trained and are given the chance to carry arms in the case of an outside threat, toghether with all persons with the mental and physical capabilities to do such. The government does not encourage the children or elders involvement in armed conflict, but it will not be prohibited for voluntary defense of their homes.

This is a good idea. Children are not meant to be used in war. They are just to small and weak. I am in full support of your proclamation.

The Rogue Nation of Kodic, supports Hobbeeia. A Country is obviously weak if they do not have enough men and women that signed-into their armies, so they have children fight in the battles. A Child should be going to school, learning, loving their realitives, and having fun. NOT having to fight, because of some sick, twisted, bastard, that has too weak of an army.

If we ban the use of children for soldiers our people wont fear us as much... If you aren't ruling by fear then your people wont follow you. Anyways most people need as many soldiers as they can get.

The union of the Nordic countries, the Democratic States of Nordea fully agrees with the Community of Bariloche in this matter.

I dont believe any civilized country uses children as soldiers. And I mean by civilized as in a country with morals.

Now I believe training children how to use guns, how to be safe with them and plain just being responsible with them.

Now a few countries use children as cannon fodder and hand them a gun and call them soldiers. That is heinous and wrong. Those countries are few and far between. Most likely these countries are rogue and do not comply with UN resolutions anyway.

Catholic Europe totally supports any proposal which seeks to stop the use of children as soldiers.
