The Fingerprinting-VISIT system is meant to identify people who have violated immigration controls, have a criminal record or belong to groups that the United Nation lists as terrorist organizations.
People who enter any United Nation member will be fingerprinted and photographed when they pass through immigration at airports and seaports.
Those identified has having violated immigration controls will be sent to the Nation of origin.
