Hi. I'm a new member, and have applied for UN membership. However, should a resolution come to pass that I do NOT want to apply, can I leave it?

Near the top of the United Natinos page there is a button that says "Resign". Click on that to leave the UN.

I would remind you, however, that leaving the UN does not change resolutions that have already been enacted during your tenure. So, if something passes that you don't like, it will still be applied as you were involved in the voting process.

I considered leaving the UN when the proposal banning killing anything was being voted on, but I didn't. I lobbied for it's defeat and saved the UN.
