OOC: you know, a link would be good. Not everyone wants to look through 20+ pages of proposals just to find yours :)
I'm far too lazy to go searching for this proposal, however, if it has to do with compulsory donations by all UN member nations, I oppose it.
It's the responsibility and choice of all individual nations how they administer -- or whether or not they have -- a welfare program.

Your proposal addresses giving money away but not what is done with it.
You do mention giving it to organisations (ooc: do they exist in NS?) but what are these organisations supposed to do with the money.

The resolution proposal being discussed:
Improve Access to Welfare
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: New-Gondor
Description: FURTHER to the UN resolution on access to medicine, WE propose a new resolution giving citizens across the world access to international welfare.
PEOPLES in need across the world should have easy access to international funds, with ALL UN members having to donate annually to organisations such as the Red Cross and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the hope of raising standards of living across the globe.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are going to support your resolution just because it makes reference to ours. (joking)
We approved it and will vote for it if it reaches the floor. We believe the success of a nation depends on success and survival of everyone, inside and outside of our borders.
Good luck

Forced redistribution of wealth is completely immoral.
If you can't be bothered to go searching for a proposal or whatever it obviously isn't worth looking at!
Beside compulsory donation is a contradiction, cumpulsory payment is more what it sounds like, and transfering money is more hassle than its worth!
Actually forced donations are usually pretty much hated. However if donations would give you certain rights in return....then it gets intresting.

Catholic Europe cannot support this proposal. We feel that it is too empty and open to abuse. More clarification on specifics is needed.
