The problem with that is twofold:
1. The NS UN system is not designed to work that way
2. It defeats the purpose of having a United Nations if each nation can just pick and choose. You might as well just propose your own laws.
this does not pick and chose what UN resolutions you want, this is alowing Nations to Interpret what a UN resolution means. I propose this so that Nations can have greater Autonomy.
By picking and choosing how you want to interpret which resolutions, you are undermining the purpose of the United Nations. If you want more autonomy, you should leave like me :D
(I post on this forum b/c I have a puppet in the UN and I like running up my post count ;))
one can not work their way around a resolution, nor ignore it, although there can be various ways in wich the wording of a resolution can be understood. As such the exact meanings of resolutions should be deteremined by the Judicial systems of the Individual member nations of the UN.
in additions the sentance you posted "By picking and choosing how you want to interpret which resolutions, you are undermining the purpose of the United Nations. If you want more autonomy, you should leave like me" doesn't makes sence gramaticaly. Are you trying to say that this proposal can some how create a loop whole around UN resolutions? IF that is what you are suggesting it can not. At best (and this is a strech) it can lessen the bite of resolutions, but this proposal can not circumvent any UN resoutions.

You clearly state that this proposal will allow interpretation to be the job of the legal system in each member state. By doing this, you allow each state to decide how to interpret it, thus giving them control over what the resolution actually does.
Also, those are two sentences, not one.
"You clearly state that this proposal will allow interpretation to be the job of the legal system in each member state. By doing this, you allow each state to decide how to interpret it, thus giving them control over what the resolution actually does."
The above may be true, but it would still be dificult to tototaly eliminate a UN resolution from being inforced by it's member nations. In Addition the UN still reserves the right to determine if a Nation is in error in it's Judicial interpretation.

You don't mention that in the proposal. And even if that is ultimately true, doesn't it render the entire proposal a moot point?
One power must be superior, and there is no point in having a higher government if it is the lower power.
it doesn't make my point moot cause I am sure the UN can tolerate a wide range of interpretations for it's many resolutions.
This resolution is awesome. It will give me more power to make more loopholes. =D
This resolution will not make it, it affects game mechanics. You ought to see the rules for making proposals
