How are Un delegates assigned?

Our region does not currently have a UN deleguate. Being the only UN member so far of this region, I'm considering becoming a deleguate to propose joining the UN to ensure our region's safety.

Would this be possible?

To gain the United Nations Delegate position you need to gain the most "endorsements" from other UN Member nations in your region. You being the only UN member nation in your region right now, that is going to be a problem getting endorsements. :(

Being a UN Delegate does not make your region any more safe or any less. All you do is become subject to the effects of UN resolutions that pass.

As a UN Delegate vote you get 1 vote plus an extra vote for every endorsement you get. (50 endorsements = when you vote it counts as 51 on the floor). Also as UN Delegate you are able to endorse proposals so they make it to the floor.

All and all, being UN Delegate enables you to have more influence on the UN.

Good luck.
