The Nation of Letila has publicly issued the following to any Nation IT DEEMS as undemocratic.

While not directly targeted at Adriano-Trace our government takes such admittions seriously and strongly urges the UN to take any necessary action needed to remove and isolate , by every means possible,the nation of Letila from the International Community of Nations due to the fact that its current regime is a danger to every peace loving and civil Nations on Earth.

Could you provide evidence to support this claim?

Such action on the part of "The Saddamized States" will constitute an act of War between our two nations. I would seriously recommend a different course of action. (like not sending people but mailing the porn to the Minstry of the the Interior directly) :wink:

Sure it does, simply adopt a resolution that would remove any and all nation that have espoused the use of violent activity against another Member Nation and impose total sactions on said nations and any nation found to violate those sanctions. :) Any Resolution passed by the UN is imposed upon every member nation.

The NationStates game is built on statist assumptions(obviously, or it wouldn't be called NationStates). Letila is really a federation of anarchist communes.

The post wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Without a government, Letila can't fund terrorism unless the general people actually support it.

Then isn't Letila a walking contradiction? I mean how can a "commune" of individuals with no form of government, thus no means of purporting valid "representation" as a nation, by definittion, be admitted to an organization of nations? At best you are just one person from the "commune" speaking, authoratively, for only you, right? To be otherwise would constitute some no matter how nominal, form of cooperative government thus not an anarchy.

I believe that the best system of government would be where there is no commerce, just a system where if you work, you get your essentials. If you don't, no dice. Of course, who would hand out the items...

Not everyone likes peace. And besides, if there was no conflict, there would be...well...nothing. Think of it this way.

Scenairio 1: Imagine a peaceful world. The world is entirely cooperative. De-armament has occured. No more weapons.

Alien race comes.
Uh-oh.
If they are hostile, we are dead. All well.

Scenario 2: All is peaceful. Medical cooperation rids the world of all diseases.
Natural selection causes something to evolve a dangerous, contamination neurotoxin, which easily takes advantage of our now peaceful, lax, worthless immune systems. Strike Two. No more humans.

I must raise my hand on that one. Even if I did support the downfall of the U.N., I would realize that the downfall of the U.N. on NationStates would end up being a Game Mechanics issue. And we all know what happens when those come up.
