Resolution Eye-dentification

Let it be resolved that all sex offenders residing in United Nations countries be required to wear a large red identification card which states them as being such. This card will be bar coded and contain a retina scan image that can be verified with a retina scan of the sex offender.

Let it be further resolved that all sex offenders must remain fully clothed at all times while in public and may not be nude under any circumstances.

And finally, let it be resolved that any sex offender who should not be wearing an Eye-dentification card, not be fully clothed in public, or found within 100 yards of any educational institution be charged with the crime for which made them a sex offender.

Please protect the world’s children and citizens from sexual predators – vote FOR Resolution Eye-dentification. Vote FOR identification of sexual predators, vote FOR compulsory clothing of sexual predators. This will help you and your loved ones.Thank you for your consideration.

Resolution Ban-Kwanzaa

Preamble: The celbration of one particular culture is RACISM. What if there was a holiday just for white people, as Kwanzaa is to those of african descent? Orginizations like the NAACP would be outraged.

Therefore, it is upon us to ban Kwanzaa and any celebration thereof in any UN country. There will also be no "Miss 'Black' America pageants", etc.

Let it be resolved that NO CELEBRATION OR EVENT SHALL BE CLASSIFIED BY RACE!

MINORITIES ARE RACISTS - BAN KWANZAA, BAN EVENTS THAT HINDER EQUALITY

These proposals are either written tongue-in-cheek or are simply not well thought out.

As for the sex offenders: believe it or not, there are effective methods of preventing them from preying on the objects of desire that don't restrict their freedom unduly and leave them free to wear productive lives; that aren't obtrusive, that work quietly in the background, and in the end bring communities closer together. The two core elements of this proposal: have someone accompany said predator in the presence of children, and monitor and educate one's own children.

As for the racial equality issue, that seems a somewhat wrongheaded way to go about fixing the problems that we all recognize. It would probably be better to mandate a social meritocracy, and in cultural terms leave the whole machine alone. If that doesn't work, then some social engineering might become desireable, but that would require a long wait to see. Any engineer would know that when there's a part of an engine that seems to produce more vibration than it should, the immediate response should generally not be to bolt said part on tighter.

Besides, legislating social activities is a waste of government time and money.

2) If they are why are you just concentrating on African-Americans?

We would be willing to agree on a proposal that states that no event should be advertised as one race only or should exclude any race from participating.

hmmmm you're being rather particular in your wording. :?
Ban Christmas? Easter? Lent? Yom Kippur? Rosh Hoshannah (sp?), Chanukkah (sp?)? Ramadaan (sp?)? St. Valentine's Day? Argue over when the New Year actually starts?

Racism (ra'siz em), n- 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences amoung the various human races determine cultural or individual achievements, usu. involving the idea that one's own race is superior. 2. a policy, system of government, etc. based on such a doctrine. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.


No mention of simply celebrating a particular culture in Websters def.

Sex offenders proposal: I won't address this at this time, however, the Federation does support proposals which identify and restrict sex offenders.

Ban-Kwanzaa: The Chancellor must inquire as to the mental state of the representative when this proposal was drafted. Were you intoxicated?

It seems to me that you, sir, are the racist one. Kwanzaa is not a racist holiday, it is simply a celebration of one's past. I am not African-American, and therefore know very little about the holiday, however, I do no that it is not intended as racist.

To celebrate 'white' history and culture, we have such days as Columbus Day, President's Day, the Fourth of July, etc. However, a 'I hate blacks' day is not appropriate. Nor is a 'I hate whites' day. Kwanzaa is not 'I hate whites' day. To imply that it is, is ignorant, racist, and just plain stupid.

My apologies for Ban-Kwanzaa. It was a blanket statement and using Kwanzaa as an example wasn't good.

What I mean to say is that there should be no race-oriented events or holidays. That's it.

The Federation of Soltak would be willing to support a resolution banning holidays that are blatantly racist in nature.
