This is a new proposal I submitted, for the protection of all our nations, dictators and presidents alike. Please post any questions. For simplicity, it is outlined here:
Nation's Bill of Rights
This bill is to ensure that all free nations may enjoy certain unalienable rights which we believe to be true and just so that they may govern themselves accordingly. This act is not to undermine the United Nations, but rather, to limit its power so that sovereign states are not afraid to join a possibly oppressive world government.
Article I: No act of the United Nations shall dictate the social structure, form of government, or national animal, currency, religion or language of any sovereign nation.
Article II: The United Nations is not responsible for any sovereign nation’s national defense; however, neither can The United Nations dictate how any sovereign nation’s national defense is managed, with the exception of producing Biological weapons, as it was outlawed in the Elimination of Bio Weapons Act of May 31, 2003.
Article III: The United Nations cannot participate in any war and neither can it order or encourage any of its constituents to do so, unless the United Nations itself is specifically attacked.
