I'd like to draw your attention to the "Get a Life" act as proposed by the Kingdom of Smytheland, with the support of our region, tMPalia. This is a direct head to head with proposals such as the one calling for the sense of humour bill to be repealed. There are thousands of people on here with wide ranging views on what they want to get out of it. Let the diverse proposals continue. If you don't like them don't approve them, there's no need to try and ban them altogether.

Description: There have been, recently, a few complaints about so called "joke" proposals and resolutions. It is the position of the people of Smytheland that such complainants be reminded that NationStates is a game. Not only that, it is a game which appeals to a very large community.
Therefore, as a continuation and extension of the sense of humour act, we propose that any proposals, regardless as to how frivolous they may appear to some be allowed on this forum. After all, if you don't like the proposal, you have the choice to ignore it. Any act which attempts to block these kind of motions is an act against our right to freedom of speech!
