Workfare for Welfare

Category: Social Justice; A resolution to reduce income inequality and increase basic welfare.
Strength: Mild

Description: The Poor people of the world often stay poor becuase there is not way out of their poverty. The poor people of Cartzanina have been a part of a unique social welfare program that allows those who participate a way out of the Ghettos.

Workfare for Welfare

This unique social program takes uneducated people, teaches them a vocation, and puts them to work for the goverment. All of my countires roads, and rails, low income houseing, many of the countires bridges, and tunnels as well as other public works projects were supplied workersthis program

Basicly the Goverment of Cartzanina pays companies to train workers. The poorer people get good jobs and can either take the money they make as goverment assistnace, or use the money to go to school to get a better job.

For the most part this has been a sucess in Cartzanina and we hope it could be a sucess for all UN nations

Those people who do not work would be subsadised by national disablity acts. Yes the works would get to choose what they wanted to do

There are millions of poor people in my country. Would Germany and France be required to find suitible Governmental work for them all?

Our main concern would be that this proposal may result cyrrent workers losing jobs to those on this program, thereby impoverishing them and creating a vicious circle.

hmm. sounds good, but it would probably cost a lot. am i right?

What about Letila? We are currently abolishing our government. We just recently phased out the office of president. We're mostly communes right now.

This Propsal is simply for all those nations that offer Welfare. The goverment creates jobs for those people who want to recive goverment assistance. All people are not required to participate. The incressed spending would be minimal becuase we are already giving money to the same people, but with out any thing back from them, plus this propsal gives them training and a way out of poverty

All people are not required to participate.
But all UN members are required to devote tax dollars to it, aren't they? Oh yes they are. UN resolutions are binding on all members, and Frisbeeteria doesn't want or need this sort of assistance.


Create your own welfare state if you want. Don't impose it on the rest of us.
