I know I've submitted this bill many times, but think about this scenario...a man who shot and wounded a clerk in a convienence store robbery is paroled for good behavior after three years in prison. He goes home, picks up his handgun, and shoots and kills three people a week later in another robbery.
Does it really make sense to allow a person convicted of a violent crime to be allowed to own a firearm when he/she is released from prison? NO!!
