Hippo Awareness Day
I think an awareness day for hippos, might be a good thing.
Seriously, hippos are very dangerous aggressive animals. They
kill people for no good reason. Someone told me they kill because
they are territorial.
Would it be a good thing if they become extinct?
Is there survival a necessity for any reason or
should they go the way of the dinosaur?

so are men but do we have a mel awareness day? nope.
and what about babbon awareness day, and fethewr-backed quejo awareness day? and what abotu the extremely rare speckled piglet awareness day? .........i think this resolution is one of the dumbest i've read. it should be ANIMAL AWARENESS DAY. not just hippos

they may be dangerous, but people provoke them by entering there land.
try walking onto a hill billys land in the middle of the woods in georgia. i jus happened to do that one day and he shot at me with his shot gun. luckily he was to drunk to AIM!
please, make an enactment for the WELLbeing of hippos, not AWARENESS of them
You should be aware of this:
Male Nile hippopotamuses square off at territory boundaries and perform a messy ritual: They turn backside to backside and shower each other in urine and feces--broadcasted with the help of their paddling tails--before walking away from each other.
Now do you understand??

I think hippos are vegetarian. The only reason for them to kill
then is territorialism. I don't really think we need an awareness day.
However learning about them, learning about anything in fact, is
useful. My point was, 'how many people know how dangerous hippos
really are?' In other words, would you have thought they kill more
people than most other dangerous animals?
and who would have thought that the jellyfish was the *most* dangerous
animal of all?
