FEEKY GOVERNMENT ISSUES OFFICIAL STAND ON HIPPOS

As other nations may be aware, the U.N. is currently deliberating on a resolution regarding Hippos and their bigness. The Orion Nebula wishes to expand worldwide knowledge of the largeosity of Hippos, yet at the same time they are ignorant of the small, adorable Pygmy Hippo species. The people of Feeky have overwhelmingly rallied in support of this diminutive but still very much hippo example of nature's diversity, and in response the government of Feeky is reaching out for international aid. We ask that all U.N. members please vote 'NO' on the current resolution. If you don't do it for yourself, at least do it for the Pygmy Hippos.

Pygmy hippos are big too.

We of the Whimsical Republic of the Orion Nebula are of course aware of Pigmy Hippos. The only way that one could consider a Pigmy Hippo to be small, it to look at in the context of other hippos. Pigmy Hippos are larger than large dogs, much larger than large house cats and really astoundingly mind-blowingly huge to large ants.

In summary, Pigmy Hippos, although not quite so big as other Hippos, are Big. Please relay this information to the people of your country and ask them to reconsider. Do it for the hippos... do it for justice... do it for the mittens.

I've posted twice already, and it's crashed both times... someone doesn't like me. Maybe two people. But anyway:

Feeky, what you don't understand is that although pygmy hippos may, technically, be smaller than many other creatures, as a member of the race of Hippopotomi they are MORALLY large. This is because, as a type of hippopotomus they are entitled to the benefits of the rest of their species, and should not be discriminated against because of their size. In the same way that a stupid human is still a member of an intelligent race, a pygmy hippo is still a member of a large race. I hope that answers your question, and please vote YES for the hippos.
