Is there anything else that this position affords me?
You can chane it in regional control. The link to it is in the region page right under the "Tired of Life" button. You can also use regional control to set up a password otr to klick people out of the region.

If you have a founder, the founder may have barred your access to change the world factbook entry. Therefore, you would be unable to change it.
