I've always thought that it should be banned from television, magazines, etc. But everyone should be allowed to say it outside the media.

This way, everyone has free speech, and it's not overused so it still means something

Ah, let 'em say whatever the f--k they want! If the little f--king p---ies overuse it and make it meaningless, it's their own damn fault.

You cannot outlaw swearing! How can that be done! You'd end up with streets where nobody talked. The whole place would go quiet. Your people would be oppressed and it would be rediculously expensive!

If you outlawed swearing, what would the kidz on the street have to say?

Also, would this ban be for all languages

P.S. ^%&*(%*(*%%&* (that is how I feel about people who swear in front of kids)

I'm not sure you understood. This proposal PROTECTS the right to swear and hear swearing for everyone in all languages in all UN member nations. I personally feel that kids should have as much right to swear and hear swearing as everybody else, but included the ability to prohibit them from hearing swearing because I know many people disagree and would not vote for this proposal unless I put something like that in there.

Also, if you love this proposal, PLEASE tell your UN Delegates to vote for it. It would be much more fun than the more recent resolutions.

This proposal won't become a resolution unless a LOT more delegates vote for it very soon. Please get your regional delegates to support it.

Thank you.

I see no problem with swearing at all- let's face it, we're all exposed to it.

In Australia it's perfectly OK to say "Sh*t" on the radio during the day (and night!) at the station's discretion, and TV channels are allowed to use the "7 Words You Can't Say On Television" after 8:30pm- as evidenced by an episode of a locally produced program where a particularly nasty character was described as a "F*cking Wanker" by another character.

To put it another way, Channel 10 ran Pulp Fiction uncut and in it's entirety a year or so back- swearing and all.

So I am in favour of a pro-swearing resolution...

You poor, poor people. Don't you see? You give someone one inch, they'll take 50 yards.
1. Allow them to swear.
2. Next, they will riot.
3. Next, they will begin strikes.
4. Next, they will over throw the government.
5. Anarchy.
6. Chaos.

Oppress. Ban. The only way.
