Call me a bad delegate but I just don't have time to read dozens of pages of proposals hoping for one stray half decent one.

So here's the deal, in this thread post your proposal followed by a breif description of why I should vote for it.

Here are some conditions. If you don't meet them don't bother.

-If there is a single spelling error forget it.
-Don't post counter-arguements. Nothing you say will sway my opinion.
-Must be a proposal. None of these proposal with nine lines of complaints and a one sentance solution.
-If it involves a reduction in my economics for anything other than an increase in civil rights for MY country, forget it.
-No stupid proposal. I say what's stupid.
-Don't even try to get me to consider anything like "Legalise Gay Bashing".

I'll come up with more, but you get the idea.

Ps. My opinion, ie my vote plus a justification, will be posted after your post. You may try to sway me, but sucsess is unlikely.

I've seen some bad ones in my day. One had a "brief" description that was literally, "Vote for it because I said so"

Typo, but I'm too lazy to fix it.

Please tell me that you jokingly used "spelt" rather than "spelled" in a post correcting another individual's spelling...

Hey, how do you spell egocentric?

For starters it's not a post about correcting spelling it's a post where I insist that any proposals posted be held to a certaine standard.

Also, I requested good spelling not grammer.

The grammtic conventions concerning spelled and spelt are vague at best, however it did slip my mind when I intially wrote the post... at 3am.

Oxford English dictionary recognizes the -t and the -ed ending for the past participle of spell, and the same for dream, learn, and burn. That's good enough for me.

Hey, how do you spell egocentric?

it's egocentric not to have time to read the entire list of propsals, then ask that the good ones be posted in a thread to save me time?

YES

Fine, then I'm egocentric, deal with it.

'Argument', 'brief', and 'sentence' were also spelt wrong...

(Regarding the spelt/spelled argument - I'm British and in British English 'spelt' is preferred. Whenever I hear the word 'spelled' used on US TV programs it seems strange to me...).

Opal - Overseas Pharmaceutical Aid for Life

Where as many third world nations hospitals are unable to provide basic medicines to their patients.

It is proposed that the nations of the world form an agency called OPAL to work in conjunction with governments, pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers in the recovery of in-date medicines for aid purposes.

Said agency is to assist countries in need with the provision of life saving medicines and medical equipment.

OPAL is to be run as a "not for profit" agency, funded through donations and by raising funds by being paid for safely disposing of medical wastes in an enviromentally friendly manner.

Note: - This is based on a real organisation called OPAL based in Australia, it's website is http://www.opal.org.au

I was merely pointing out that the spelling of one word, in itself, does not devalue an otherwise valid piece of written work.

I, personally, think if people believe they are justified in assigning rules to a given situation then they should also be prepared to abide by them.

I don't, I make no denial of tha fact I'm a hypocrit. As a Catholic it's my God-given right. Oddly enough I'm not joking.

Slagkattunger, you have my endorsement for your proposal. Even it if it does harm my economy and once again prove me a hypocrite unto my own rules, your proposals merit is well deserving.

And your ambassidor is one sexy gal  j/k.
