The Kingdom of Ursoria has recently introduced the long-awaited "FREEDOM FOR NUDITY RESOLUTION". This resolution quite properly points out that the nude human form has played an important part in the artistic heritage of humanity, and expresses the sense of the international community that flags which depict human nudity ought to be permitted.

Surely this is merely an enlightened attempt to bring Nation-States Admin, kicking and screaming in protest, into the 21st century. I point out most emphatically that it does NOT affect the hallowed "game mechanics", since it merely expresses the sense of the international community and does not seek to compel any change in the way Nation-States is set up.

Please join with us in upholding the cause of freedom by supporting the FREEDOM FOR NUDITY RESOLUTION.

this site sry international community can set up thier own sites to display thier own art/heritage/fantasies w/e.if it were realy that inportant they'd already be doing it.

to call a spade a spade here: the only reason to show the nude bodie in a format like this is to draw personal attention to the bearer of such a sig/flag. it catches the eye, and gives the mystic of sexual prowness that is covited in most social gatherings. it gives power to its bearer in that the sig/flag carries its own social meanings and allows the bearer of such a thing to hide behind these implacations (of thier sig/flag) with out ever having to justify them selfs.

in short allwoing these things weakens debate.

lastly the poll at the top should be removed totaly as it casts a shameful light on those who disagee w/Ursoria.

Yes, nudity can and has produced inspirational art, but I believe the flag(s) in question where posted more for the thrills of the nation-owner than for art. That's exploitation of someone else's body, not art.

We've participated in a lot of debates, and we've rarely (if ever) looked at the flags of the nations we debated against. Frankly, we don't think the Resolution would have much of an effect on the quality of debate, either way. But it could hardly make it any worse than it already is.

We'll admit we were having a little fun with the poll. But it was obviously tongue-in-cheek.

I believe the flag(s) in question were posted more for the thrills of the nation-owner than for art. That's exploitation of someone else's body, not art.

How in the Hell can a drawing of a fictional person be considered "exploitation of someone else's body"? Alberto Vargas drew some really sexy nudes, but they were pretty good art too!
