Following the Passage of the UN Resolution on Labor Unions yesterday and the miniscule demonstration of AnteNicean Union workers last night in celebration of the Passage of that Resolution the AnteNicean National Council This morning Unanimously Passed the "Definition of Labor Union Activity Act" which states:

The Proper area of concern for Labor Unions shall be confined only to those employer policies that directly affect the working conditions of Union members within the work place.

If at any time any single, or group of, Labor Union(s) act in any manner to influence any area of society not directly determined by the policies of their employers they shall then be legally viewd as "Political Organizations" and thus NO LONGER COVERED by the Provisions of the UN Resolution on Labor Unions and then subject to any and all Laws of AnteNicea applicable to conduct of Political Organizations.



After the Passage of the "Definition of Labor Union Activity Act" HM Crown Prince Ericanius Issued a Statement saying
" While the Constitutional Monarchy of AnteNicea fully supports the purposes and values of the UN and the rights of workers to organize and collectively bargain for better worker conditions we are determined to preserve our right to self determination as a free people and a Nation. There is a proper time and place for everything in a free society and the propoer role of Labor Unions should be confined to those company policies that affect the working conditions of the workers. It is the Hope of the Crown that the actions taken by the National Council this morning will bolster the position Union organizations by letting them know that the government of AnteNicea is here to fully support their rightful activities." :wink:

Most excellent! We will propose this to our Paranoid Parliament (who by coincidence have today enacted anti-trust laws against white-collar unions).

Today Daistallia signed this act into law within our borders.

Enodian workers, however, have been enjoying the festivities featuring - among other things - a mock Bastille-storming and a "Dunk the Boss" tank. Public readings of Marx, Trotsky and Bakunin are taking place nationwide and there is a general sense of great levity.

As Parliamentary Deputy Jurgen Johannson told reporters, "This is a prime opportunity for Enodia to once again affirm our commitment to socialist ideals".
