WHEREAS it is generally understood that less developed nations cannot afford to supply and pay for non-generic drugs to the detriment of the health, economy and livelyhood of its populace.
WHEREAS poor health due to debilitating illness causes underdeveloped nations to spiral into worse economic decay due to lack of sustainable workforce, drain on healthcare, and drain on overall economy.
WHEREAS aiding these nations would cause all nations of the world to benefit in reducing the amounts of international aid and rescue/humanitarian missions.
WHEREAS it is often the case that less expensive, generic drugs are available and will not majorly reduce the overall profit of the companies creating the non-generic drugs.
It is advised that the following occur:
1) Make generic drug copies of lifesaving non-generic drugs available to nations with a low national income and poor economy.
2) Ensure that these drugs get distributed by the governments of these countries directly to hospitals and clinics.
3) Encourage doctors in developed countries to train those doctors of nations without proper support due to poor national economic conditions in proper use and deployment of lifesaving drugs.
4) Use countries who are willing to contribute transportation methods to get these personnel and product to the people who need it the most.
