The People of the Free Land of Our Direct Democracy have voted by unanimous all-college vote that an official plea for support be issued for the following UN Resolution, recently submitted by Our Direct Democracy. We thank you.

Socially Beneficial Free Trade
A resolution to reduce barriers to free trade and commerce.
Category: Free Trade Strength: Significant Proposed by: Our Direct Democracy
Description: The General Assembly, Having taken note of the traditional opposition between Free Trade and Social Welfare.
Having expressed its desire to overcome this unfounded antagonism and studied opportunities for Free Trade to coexist with progressive social policies.
Resolves that Economic Prosperity through Free Trade and the protection of Civil Rights, especially in the areas of Social Welfare and Health Care, no longer be considered mutually exclusive.
Recommends that the notion of Free Trade be expanded to take into account the myriad of Socially Beneficial Free Trade agreements, notably in the areas of intellectual property and medicine distribution.
