I am trying to gather support against the UN.

I can understand the anti-UN rhetoric considering the idiotic resolution they just passed, but declare war? To what purpose? Even if you RP an amazing takeover and destruction of the UN, it isn't gonna go away.

This whole "Anti-UN REVOLUTION" idea is really pointless to me. If you really hate the UN, it's really easy to leave. I don't understand why people need to go the extra mile and not only quit, but try and get nuked by the more powerful UN nations too.

I would like to note that Goobergunchia acting alone could destroy your nation easily. Challenging the entire UN, even with allies, is suicidal.

While I am opposed to the Tyrranical methodologies of the UN I will offer them the respect for their right to govern their own that they are unwilling to give to others.

I will not initiate a war on the UN However we will forever be watchful for the inevitable confrontation with the Tyrrany that drives that despotic body.

there are a few regions who hate the u.n but many people don't love it but they don't join for the resolutions or unity they join for power so you might have support but not many followers who wouldn't be very powerful if they weren't in the u.n

I am afraid Goobergunchia that your assessment is incorrect while you could destroy me alone I have full military control of GCOn and we would be able to outnumber you I also have many alliances with other ani UN groups who fully support me so my cause is not futile.

I agree, if you really want to make a difference: try to make the system work by actively campaigning and educating others about the UN. Turning away from the system won't change things, we must take the UN back from the inside, it is our duty as the free nations of the world to do so.

Actually, I have seen posts from very very high muckymucks explaining that you cannot in fact actually delete a reslution, with the way that the game is set up. Best you can do is pass another one designed to counter-balance the first one. FYI

People have to stop taking things so seriously - this is not the real world, so you should interpret proposals and resolutions to mean what it is clear that the writer intended. Obviously, the writer didn't intend this, so just ignore the loophole.

Plus, you're wrong anyway:


1. All nations must recognize unions formed for the purpose of collective representation of workers. 2. All nations must take appropriate steps to ensure the ability of unions to engage in industrial actions, and must appoint unbiased mediators to resolve disputes if a strike continues for 60 days or more. 3. Unions shall have the right to establish and join federations and confederations of labor unions, both nationally and internationally. 4. Unions and their national and international organizations shall be free from interference by the public authorities when drawing up their constitutions and rules, electing their representatives, organizing their administration and activities, and formulating their programs. 5. Workers shall enjoy adequate protection against acts of anti-union discrimination in respect of their employment, both at the time of entering employment and during the employment relationship. 6. In exercising the rights provided for in this resolution workers and their respective organizations, like other persons or organized collectivities, shall respect the laws of their nations. 7. National laws shall not be made to impair the guarantees provided for in this resolution. Laws that contradict these guarantees shall not be created or enforced.


1 means that terrorists can't form a legally recognised union to do anything like plan attacks. And anyway, being part of a legally recognised terrorist union would only highlight terrorists to the authorities. 6 means that the individual members cannot be immune to prosecution for committing terrorist acts. And even if you construe 4 to allow the union to plan terrorist acts without interference (although this would go against 1), it does not say that individuals are also free from interference, so the members involved in any plan could be arrested. Finally (and pedantically), if they manage to carry out the attack, they and the union can be prosecuted, because 4 does not give them freedom to carry out plans, just to plan them (I too can nit-pick - see how stupid and pointless it is to argue wording rather than meaning with these things)

This is just crazy! The UN is what the world depends on. If there was no UN then tens or thousands of countries will be put down into the scums and all non-UN members will shine in thier glory. to me thats just not fair at all.

My opinion of the UN so far:
A lot of nations (people) are talking about pointless and stupid things.
Many people aren’t thinking about their votes by discussing the bad and good points about the issues.
Nations are just here to annoy others because they are pi$$ed off something didn’t go their way.
Nations do not try to way someone argument against theirs, but just type in caps a stupid comment.

How we could fix these problems:
Don’t respond to these nations, and don’t listen to them in the future.
Being ignored will show them how much you want them to shut up, and if they carry on the way they are in the same thread, the adim will notice them and warn them before banning them. They will also get bored of being ignored and then leave, or lower the time spend here.

You can't really change the UN, as it's the way it is because of some of the people in it...

Ignore them, when they get bored or get banned, problem solved.

It is a something which humanity is bettered for having. Why would one therefore wish to get rid of the UN?

Because it sucks and it forces BS laws onto Countrys. Not to mention it's just an in-effective organization because no one listens to it anyway (pretty close to its real life counterpart I do say)
