Knowing what the cause is might get a bit of support for it. Demonstrators don't tend to get far with the slogan:

What do we want? It's a secret
When do we want it? That's for me to know and you to find out

(NOTE: I hope this doesn't read as if I'm making fun of you. I'm not really.)

I rather like that slogan....

*Can see it now*

"What do we want?"
"Not gunna tell you!"

"When do we want it?"
"At a prescribed date in the future which we have memorised and not marked in our calenders in case they are found and read by our enemies!"

Another thing, which region are you in? You should send telegrams to the people in your region to endorse you.

Clever, clever, Enodia.

I wouldn't endorse the cause of someone just because they begged. It strikes me as diplomatic philanthropy.

"Give me nukes!" says country A.

"What will you do with them?" says country B.

"That's for us to know and you to find out!!" replies country A.

Somehow, I don't buy into the bargain.

"Destroy everyone! Bwahahahahahaha!!!
Oops- I wasn't supposed to say that, was I..."

I should lock this because it's getting out of hand, but it's too good to lock.

actually, there's a Real World presedence for this. Prior to last year's election, the Slovakian Communist Party refused to publish their programme, quoting the entirely self-contradictory reasons that a) their opponents would steal all the good bits and b) it would scare off voters. "But trust us" they said. "There are some real goodies in there. Oh yes." It worked too - they made parliament for the first time since independence.

When you start supporting people for no reason they begin hanging around looking for handouts and pretty soon they're staying at your place.

See, that's why you should give me weapons! If you have any problems like that, I'll be happy to- deal with them- for you.
