Devolution Revolution

The UN should not have the right to regulate how we handle homosexuals in our states. Each state should decide by itself for we are all so different. This is not an attempt to destroy the homosexual community, but only to protect the sanctuary of marriage.

If you think marriage is a good thing, then you should allow every sort of couple to marry.
The alternative is to promote irresponsible promiscuity.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Yet, you are right when you say gays do have rights. I believe some type of union should be allowed between gays, but it is not the UN's right to say how to do it.

I believe that it is not the government's place to tell people who they can and cannot marry. Think about it, what is marriage specifically anyways? In a legal sense, it's a stupid piece of paper that says "Jane married Bob" or whatever. It's a change in last name (sometimes), and a sharing of credit card debt (depending on your nation). The "Sanctity of Marriage" is only according to a select few religious groups, and those people should NOT have the right to dictate the beliefs of others.

We are only saying that their union will not be legal in our state. If they were married in a state which allowed marriages between the same sex, their union will exist anytime they leave the state. However, they shall not face any discrimination in our country if this was passed. We only seek the opportunity to form another type of union for these people, which is currently impossible.

My person belief is that homosexuality is groos, unatural and, as a christian, immoral. However there is a diffrence between religion and law. To say that an adult does not have the right to consent to sex with another adult is politiclay wrong in a free society. Im a HARD CORE coservative, and while it is painful for me to say this, if gays have the right to live together they have the right to marry as well. Also we should abolish laws against protitution and polygamy on the same grounds. As a christian I believe that the folks who practice this stuff are damned by god, however as a politician I believe it make no sense in a free society to have laws against these practices. God will deal with the issue in the manner prscibes. The state is not here to promote (or limit) god or religion.

The relationship between church and state is one for each nation to decide by itself. The UN should have no role in that matter and the area of gay rights. In this proposal, they shall have rights, which will make them equal, but it will have another name.
