Death Penalty in Regions

Someone please propose my idea to the UN.
I propose that we outlaw in all regions the death penalty. We have no right to take anyones life away no matter what the circumstances. Just because someone comits murder does't mean we need to stoop to their level. The death penalty is an afwul thing and it should be outlawed.

The Canadian Tundra is totally opposed to such a ridiculous proposal such as eliminating the death penalty. In a show of contempt for such an idea, we are bringing out several rebels who were to be put to death two weeks from now.

The United Nations taking away the right for a nation to use the dealth penalty in a sensible way (if the crime was legitimate enough for a death penalty) is giving this United Nations too much power. No committee or organzation can take away such strong resolutions such as the dealth penalty without the nation's consentation. This is a violation of the soverignty of a nation and the Kingdom of Froiselle STRONGLY opposes this resolution. The Church of Froiselle also has comended this resolution as "purely evil in the sentiment of a nations powers."
If such act is passed, The Kingdom of Froiselle, and I'm sure, many other nations will leave the United Nations.

God no. The U.N. is to promote international cooperation, it's not a world goverment.
The United Socialist States of Europaland fully supports this proposal and has submitted many similar proposals to the UN.
The death penalty is the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment. It violates the right to life. It is irrevocable and can be inflicted on the innocent. It has never been shown to deter crime more effectively than other punishments

The death penalty is banned in The Holy Republic B33F. We believe that all humans have a right to live. No matter what they have done, we attempt to reform them and then put them under strict watch, or to put them in jail or a mental institution.
And what are we supposed to do with the totaly mad criminals? Eat them?
In FelisCatus we think it is inhuman to keep someone in jail for life, doomed to rot in this kind of environment.
Using them to test new vaccines or killing them quickly seems far more appreciable. As a matter of fact, we never had any complains from the victims families, and the ressource that should be used to keep these scums in life are far better used to help victims families to recover their losses, if it is possible.
