please vote for the proposal, we need a strike force. it will employ people, so helps economy. and we all need a strike force to be behind our government to back-up our commitments and capabilities. just so no one starts a war.....HORSES AND THINGS....britt :roll:

Interesting idea. If we formed a strike force, then we would have a military to protect UN members from attack by other nations and to bring down nations whose tyranny has gone too far. I'm still waiting for my membership to the UN, but I can already see the effects of a strike force. Also, I'm sure some of my fellow former hobo's would be glad to be part of such an honorable task. First off, how would the UN run this! No one would agree on who would control and how to fund this strike force!

Second, how do you define tyranny? Communist nations say capitalists, monarchs, and fascists are tyrants, fascists say communists, republics say monarchs, fascists and communists, and so on...

Thirdly how would we decide to intervene in conflicts?
Note: a number of countries are pacifists and have no military.

And lastly, it would require massive game modification to add a “UN Army” something Max Berry won't do to suit your whims.
