UN Proposal: UN Proposal Listing Revision

As all UN proposals are listed by support by default, which causes many new proposals yet worthy of support to be lost in the tide of proposals;
It is proposed that either:
a. The option to sort all UN proposals by date (newest to oldest) be added, OR
b. A new page, listing current UN proposals by name be added.
Either option would have the effect of bringing to light proposals brought forward by smaller UN members, who might not be members of a strong voting region.
Discuss.

No-one agrees with my proposal? Wouldn't it make it easier to find recent proposals that interest you? An index, if you will, of proposals? Bah.
Please see Enodia's sticky, or the FAQ. This is not a legal proposal, and will probably be deleted.

UN proposals are already listed by date oldest to newest. It's only the ones which have reached quorum and are queueing that are always at the front. Also, you should know that you aren't allowed to make proposals to change the way the game works.

I seem to remember seeing a proposal that reduced voting time, among others. But okay.

I think most of the past proposals that were passed (those calling for a game mechanics change that is) were never implemented anyways. The only exception seems to the the addition of the proposal search function.

Game Mechanics
"We should make it so that all UN Members can vote on proposals before they reach the floor", "We should be able to vote on 2 proposals at once", "The UN should create <multinational organisation>". All of these proposals propose changes to the Game Mechanics governing the running of NationStates.
I cannot stress this enough, You Cannot Play God Here. Your proposal may well be a useful change to the way the game works, and a few changes to the game (ejection of nations from regions, proposal search function) had their genesis in proposals. The bottom line is that they were not adopted because of the successful passage of a proposal, and neither will your suggestion be.
Therefore, I raise a point of order against this proposal.
However, it's an interesting idea. Therefore, MODALERT  Technical.

Proposal has accordingly been zapped.
If you're talking about an actual resolution that passed entitled "Expedition of Resolution Votes" (or something), it passed before moderators were around to police it. If you're talking about a proposal in the queue now, it will be accordingly zapped when I come across it.

Yeah, it was in the past. Sorry about that, I wasn't able to delete my proposal after I became aware of the inappropriateness of my post / where to comment about changes. Does this count as a strike against me?
Sadly, yes.
Still, it's only Strike 1 of 3.
